The Humanities Commission covers the following subjects: Slovak Language and Literature, English Language, German Language, History, Civics and Ethical Education.
Main tasks of the subject commission:

Introducing modern information technologies into the teaching process of
individual subjects.

Implementing the use of important anniversaries and remembrance days in
the educational process.

| 3. |
Devoting greater attention to the teaching of foreign languages and to
the preparation of the students for the school leaving
examinations.

Developing education towards marriage and parenthood.
|
| 5. |
Strengthening tolerance, removing discrimination, racism, xenophobia,
antisemitism and other manifestations of intolerance.
|
| 6. |
Developing legal conscience of the pupils.
|
| 7. |
Asserting the relationship towards nature and its protection.
|
| 8. |
Organizing activities in the fight against drugs.
|
| 9. |
Incouraging professional growth of the members of the subject commission.
|
| 10. |
Carrying out sittings in classes among the commission members.
|
| 11. |
Taking care of the talented pupils as well as of those with poor results.
